- Egypt
Development and continuation of aquaculture projects into an expanded scope, to include processing
and marketing of sea fish and fish from Lake Aswan, including development of new fishing techniques
for deep waters in Lake Aswan and establishment of joint ventures between Danish and Egyptian entities
to attract additional direct foreign investment and institutional financial support
- Denmark-based, Eastern Europe-wide
Development of a concept for a venture capital fund to create credit lines to the fisheries sector in
Eastfish member countries, including assessment of need, fund location, fund distribution mechanism,
project selection criteria, risk assessment, security assessment, fund management, etc.
- Albania
Development and identification of credit institutions able to participate in micro-credit scheme in
Albania's fisheries sector; design of structures for the application of micro-credit systems to
the fisheries sector, with particular reference to security and repayment within Albanian culture
- U.K.-based, worldwide
Management of Biological Development & Services of company operations worldwide for a corporation; including
R&D, Customer support, Presentation at conferences, Business Development in new markets and new species;
lead consultant in various projects
- Malta
Assessment and review of the by-catches of sharks from the Maltese long-line
fisheries and of the potential impacts on the wild shark population in the Mediterranean.
